The App assists individuals in assessing their risk of contracting or transmitting HIV. This user-friendly system aims to facilitate easier access to HIV prevention and testing services, all within the privacy of one’s own space. By understanding the risk level, one can make informed decisions to avoid risky behaviors and take the necessary steps to test HIV status.

What the Client wanted
Create a system for evaluating HIV risk and linking individuals with appropriate HIV testing centers.
Risk Assessment – This module comprises a sophisticated series of questions with corresponding choices. The user’s responses are used to evaluate the level of risk.
Appointment Booking – Users have the option to choose a testing center location and schedule appointments based on their preferred dates.
Multilingual Support  – The application and website are developed in both English and Dzongkha, providing bilingual functionality for users.
Challenge
Dzongkha Language – Incorporating the Dzongkha language posed a challenge during the application development. Overcoming this hurdle involved implementing a distinct Unicode and incorporating two tabs in each web application view to facilitate seamless input in the local language. Additionally, an audio file feature was integrated to enhance user accessibility.
